Midura Building Company did an excellent job at our family’s house in Dorset. It was a complex project involving a major historic renovation of a 1920’s home coupled with new construction of a garage/guest house. Lou and his team were not only terrific craftsmen, but also creative problem solvers. Both the materials and workmanship were top notch. Lou did a great job of managing his subcontractors most of which he has worked together with for years. I found that Lou was open and honest and did a good job of communicating with me. It is with great pleasure that we write to report on our excellent experience with Lou Midura and to endorse his expertise and totally professional services as the general contractor on four separate major projects for us over the years 2015 – 2018 with helpful follow-ups since. Lou as the proprietor of Midura Building Company worked in close collaboration with our architect to design and build two new residences and renovate two others. These projects began with the complete demolition of two residences.
Lou handled everything and without any hitches. In addition to his knowledge, expertise and extensive experience, Lou brings to the job a totally upbeat, friendly and “can do” personality which all make working with him a delight and certainly rewarding. For such extensive, multiple and complex projects it is notable that not one instance of discomfort or unhappiness arose, and this is entirely to Lou’s credit.
In short, we cannot recommend Lou highly enough.
